Important Dates for March include:
Monday, February 26 – Friday, March 1 – Tournament Training
Students will practice the events that will be included in the tournament this Saturday. Events include: Forms, Weapon Forms, Point Sparring, and Sumo.
Saturday, March 2 – Immortal Dragon Tournament
This Tournament will be hosted at Complete Martial Arts. I encourage all students to compete in this event. 9am ages 13 and up. 10:15am ages 9-12. 1:15pm ages 7 and under. Register online at: immortaldragonmartialarts.com/tournament
Monday, March 4 – Wednesday, March 6 – CMA Half Day Camp
After School Students who have a half day camp will be picked up early from school. We will have lunch, play games on the mat, and have many other activities to choose from. Regular classes will begin at 4pm.
Monday, March 11th – Board Breaking
Students will have the opportunity to practice the breaking technique required for their next belt level test. We are now using re-breakable boards. There is no fee for board breaking class. These new re-breakable boards can be purchased for home use. The cost is $50 each.
Saturday, March 16th – Black Belt Ceremony @11am
All black belt students and their families are invited to attend. This will be a pot luck lunch right after the ceremony.
Saturday, March 23rd – CMA CLOSED
Grand Master Shipp will be hosting a Chun Kuhn Taekwondo Seminar in Kirkland, WA as well as attending the NE Regional CK Taekwondo Championships
Thursday, March 28th – Friend Day!
All students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to class on this day. We will have a fun and educational class prepared for students of all ability levels. Students who bring a friend to class will receive a special prize!
Friday, March 29th – Saturday March 30th – CMA CLOSED
CMA will be CLOSED in observance of Good Friday and Easter
Monday, April 1st – Thursday, April 4 – CMA Spring Break Camp
Drop off begins at 8 am should be picked up by 4pm or immediately after their class. We will have a full schedule of events for camp soon. Register by email: [email protected]
