Chun Kuhn Taekwondo

Chun Kuhn Taekwondo, also called Chun Kuhn Do, is a complete and traditional form of the Korean Martial Art of Taekwondo developed and taught by Taekwon-Do legend Supreme Grandmaster Kim Bok-Man. Chun Kuhn Taekwondo isĀ a complete martial art encompassing all areas of self defense based on traditional Taekwon-Do, developed and taught in the Korean military during the 1950s and 60s. However, unlike other styles of the art, Chun Kuhn Taekwondo also teachesĀ grappling, throwing and the use of traditional weapons.

Supreme Master Kim Bok-Man is the last surviving founding pioneer of Taekwon-Do in the ROK Army, present when General Choi Hong-Hi coined the name “Tae Kwon Do.” Other ROK Army founding pioneers include General Choi Hong-Hi (1918-2002), Colonel Nam Tae-Hi (1929-2013), and Grandmaster Han Cha-Kyo (1934-1996)
