Important dates for the month include:
Wednesday, November 6th—Board Breaking
Students will have the opportunity to practice the breaking technique required for their next belt level test. We are now using re-breakable boards. There is no fee for board breaking class. These new re-breakable boards can be purchased for home use. The cost is $50 each.
Monday-Wednesday November 6th-8th – CMA Half Day Camp
After school students will be picked up at dismissal. Students should bring their lunch or we can purchase lunch within our complex. We will have activities and games planned until regular classes start at 4pm. The cost for members is $55 per day. Email [email protected] to register ($20 discount if you are enrolled in the afterschool program on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday)
Thursday, November 9 – Saturday, November 11 – CMA CLOSED
Saturday, November 18th – Black Belt Ceremony & Pot Luck Party
All Black Belts and their families are invited to come celebrate our newest black belts with us at 11am. There will be PIZZA and CAKE for all black belts and their families. Please RSVP and sign up to bring a dish or refreshment to share.
Wednesday, November 22nd – Friend Day!
All students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to class on this day. We will have a fun and educational class prepared for students of all ability levels. Students who bring a friend to class will receive a special prize!

Finally, I would like to remind everyone about our December 2nd Tournament the 7th Annual Founders Championship at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fairfield. This is our biggest event of the year and we really need everyone’s support! I encourage all students to compete, no matter what age or belt level. This will show strong support from Complete Martial Arts. We have teams traveling in from all over the United States, Czech Republic, and South America. I will be sending out more information about volunteers needed at the tournament.
