Important dates for the month:
Wednesday, October 5 – CMA Day Camp – Livingston schools will be closed for Yom Kippur. We will be hosting day camp from 8am until 4pm. Please reply to this email to register.
Friday, October 7 – Friend Day – Students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to class on this day. We have an exciting and educational class planned for students of all experience levels.
Wednesday, October 19 – Board Breaking – Students will have the opportunity to practice the breaking requirement for their next belt level test. Boards cost $5 each and can be purchased before class. Otherwise boards will be charged to the card on file.
Monday, October 24 – CMA Day Camp/KickPics Professional Martial Arts Photography – Livingston schools will be closed for Diwali. We will be hosting day camp from 8am until 4pm. Please email [email protected] to register. In addition, we will have KickPics Professional Martial Arts Photography at our location on Monday, October 24th. We will be shooting individual/family photos from 4pm until 7:30pm. There will be a sign up sheet for 5 minute time slots. You can email us with an approximate time and we will try to get as close as possible. You may also sign up in the lobby. The cost is $29 for a single digital photo. You can then take the digital photo and have as many prints made as you like. We are looking forward to some awesome photos!
Friday, October 28 – Adult Promotion Testing – 10am
Friday, October 28 – Halloween Party – 5pm-7pm – Please wear your costume. This is one of our best parties of the year. There will be games, contests, prizes, music, and food & drinks. We will have a sign up sheet in the lobby.
Saturday, October 29 – Promotion Testing – 10am for all Black Belts and Color Belts ages 8 and up. 1pm for all color belt students ages 7 and under.
Monday, October 31 – No Regular Classes – We will pick up the afterschool kids as usual. Parents can pick up their kids from CMA by 5pm or from a designated area after 5pm. We plan to take the kids trick or treating in Livingston in our usual neighborhood.
