Important dates for the month:
Saturday, March 11 – Black Belt Ceremony – 11am – All black belts and their families are invited to attend. This will be a pot luck lunch so please bring a dish to share. The new 1st degree black belts will read from their essays. Belts, uniforms, and certificates will be presented. Please arrive in your full uniform and belt. Dress code is business casual. Black belts please bring clothes to change into for the lunch and photos.
Monday, March 13 – Board Breaking – Students will have the opportunity to practice the breaking technique required for their next belt level test. Boards cost $5 each and can be purchased with cash before class. Otherwise the board will be charged to the card on file. If you have your unbroken board from a previous testing or board breaking, please bring it.
Saturday, March 25 – CMA CLOSED – Grandmaster Shipp will assist in conducting the 2nd Annual Founder’s Championship in honor of Supreme Master Bok Man Kim in Seattle, Washington on this day. This is a great tournament hosted by my friends of many years. Any black belt students who are qualified for Nationals are invited to complete. Please speak with GM Shipp if you are interested in attending.
