September Announcements

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer vacation.  We are excited to start the new school year and get back to our regular schedule.  Please click the link below to download the Fall Class Schedule:

Important Dates:

Thursday, September 1 – After School Program Begins – All students who are registered in the After School Program will be picked up from school by the CMA van.  Please make sure to bring your full uniform and belt with you that day.  Otherwise, you can drop your belongings in your cubby at CMA prior to the first day of school.  Pick up is by 6:15pm every day.

Saturday, September 3 – Monday, September 5 – CMA CLOSED – Everyone have a wonderful Labor Day!

Friday, September 9 – Board Breaking – Students will break boards during their regular class.  They will practice the breaking requirement for their next belt level test.  Please note that board cost has now increased to $5 each.  Boards can be purchased before class.  Otherwise, boards will be charged to the card on file.

Saturday, September 10 – TKD Tigers and Demo/Tournament Team Training – We are back!  TKD Tigers class will resume at 9am.  Also, we are preparing for our December 3 Tournament and Demonstration.  I encourage all black belts to attend at 10am.  Color belts need special permission from Master Shipp to attend.

Friday, September 16 – Friend Day – All students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to class on this day.  We always prepare a fun class for students of all experience levels.  Also, if your friend signs up for our regular program you will receive a referral credit to be applied to your next testing fee.

Saturday, September 17 – 11:30am Black Belt Ceremony & Potluck – All black belts and their families are encouraged to come celebrate with us as our black belts are awarded with higher degrees.  There will be a sign up sheet for a Potluck lunch.  All black belts receiving a higher degree must bring in 2 passport size photographs as soon as possible.  This photo will be displayed on your certificate.

Monday, September 26 – Tuesday, September 27 – CMA Day Camp – Livingston schools will be closed for Rosh Hashanah.  We will be hosting day camp with drop off starting at 8am.  We will leave for the park by 10am.  Students should bring a lunch for a picnic each day.  We will plan a full day of outdoor games and activities.  We will return to CMA before 3pm for snack time.  Students should be picked up by 6:15pm.  After school students scheduled for Monday and/or Tuesday receive $20 discount per day on camp fees.

Please note that full uniforms are required starting September 1st.
