Important dates for the month of April include:

Thursday evenings at 7:30pm – Nationals Team Training – If you plan to compete at Nationals this year in Tulsa, Oklahoma please attend these training sessions.

Monday, April 1 – Friend Day – All students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to their regular scheduled class.  We have prizes for all students who attend.  If your friend signs up for our regular program you will receive a referral credit good for your next testing fee.

Saturday, April 9 – Spring Scrimmage – This is a sparring event to get practice in for Tournaments.  We will use the electronic sparring system so participants can see the score in real time.  Students will be divided into their competition divisions and get 3-4 rounds of sparring.  Everyone will receive a trophy for participation.  Prizes will be given to the students that score the most points.  Also, if you still are looking to qualify for Nationals this is a qualifying event.  Younger students ages 14 and under will spar from 10am – 12pm.  Students ages 15 and above will spar from 1pm-3pm

Tuesday, April 12- Thursday, April 14 – Half Day Camp – Since local schools will have an early dismissal we will be hosting half day camp.  Activities will include: physical games, movies, video games, arts and crafts, and much more.  After school students parents please confirm if we are picking up your child or not on these days.  All students are eligible to attend camp.  Please register by email.

Friday, April 15 – CMA Day Damp – Please register by email.  Full camp schedule to follow soon.

Monday, April 18 – Wednesday, April 20 – Spring Break Camp – Please register by email.  Full camp schedule to follow soon.

Thursday, April 21 – Saturday, April 23 – CMA will be CLOSED – Grandmaster Shipp will be in Colorado teaching a Chun Kuhn Taekwondo Seminar.

Saturday, April 30 – Color Belt Promotion Testing – All students who have earned 3 stripes on their belt are eligible to test.  10am will be ages 7 and under.  11am will be ages 8 and over.  Please make sure to know the required Home Rules.  White belts must memorize the first 3 rules.  Add one Home Rule per belt.  Home Rules.pdf
