I would like to wish a Happy New Year to all our students and families. Also, I would like to thank everyone who contributed toward a gift card for Master Clint and myself or gave individual gifts – we sincerely appreciate it!
I am very proud of the progress our students have made over the last year. We have a record number of black belts training for higher degrees and many motivated color belts striving to attain black belt. I have worked diligently to create a yearly calendar of events to motivate and challenge our students.

Class Schedule additions:
Tuesdays and Thursdays we have a new Self Defense class at 6:30pm. This is similar to Krav Maga in the fact that we will be teaching military self defense techniques. I will incorporate boxing and other striking techniques as well. No uniforms are required, and no forms or patterns will be taught. This is a self-defense application class only. Parents are encouraged to attend these classes. First week is free.
Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm we have additional Taekwondo classes for Teenager and Adult students.
Important dates for January:
Friday, January 14th – Friend Day – All students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to class on this day.
Saturday, January 15that 2pm – Firearms Training – RTSP Shooting Range – Union, NJ – Please contact Master Shipp if you are interested in attending.
Monday, January 17th – Day Camp– Schools will be closed in observance of MLK Jr. day and we will be hosting day camp. We will have a fun day of activities planned. Drop off begins at 8am. Last pick up is 6:15pm.
Wednesday, January 19th – Board Breaking – Students will be allowed to practice the required breaking technique for their next belt level test. Boards cost $3 each and can be purchased before class. Otherwise, boards will be charged to the card on file.
