Important dates for November:
Monday – Wednesday, November 1-3 – Half Day Camp – Since Livingston Schools will have an early dismissal, we will be hosting half day camp at CMA. Students can be dropped off at 1pm. After school students will be picked up from school as usual. The cost for half day camp is $55 per student and afterschool students are $35. Students should bring their lunch or we can order lunch within our complex.
Thursday – Friday, November 4-5 – CMA Full Day Camp – Drop off for camp is 8am and pick up is at 4pm unless you are taking class. Latest pick up is 6:15pm for afterschool students and black belts. We will have a full day of activities planned with lunch around 11:30am and snack time around 3pm. The cost for full day camp is $75. Afterschool students are $55. Please register for camp by replying to this email.
Monday, November 8 – Board Breaking – Students will break boards during their regular class. Boards cost $3 each and can be purchased before class. Any boards not purchased before class will be charged to the card on file. Student will practice the breaking technique required for their next belt level test.
Saturday, November 20 – Black Belt Ceremony – All students who tested for their 1st degree black belt or are receiving a 2nd degree black belt will have a ceremony at 11am. Students should wear their full uniform and belt for the ceremony. All black belts are invited to attend. This will be our biggest ceremony ever with over 15 students receiving belts!
Wednesday, November 24 – Half Day Camp – We will be doing after school pick up as usual. Students not in the aftercare program can be dropped of at 1pm. Same fees as above.
Wednesday, November 24 – Friend Day – Students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to class on this day. We will have fun games and activities planned for students of all experience levels.
Thursday – Saturday, November 25-27– CMA will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Everyone have a fun and safe holiday!!
Also a reminder that we will be hosting our 5th Annual Founder’s Championship on Saturday, December 4th at the OYO Hotel and Conference Center in East Hanover. All of our students are highly encouraged to attend. Students can compete in any of the 5 events: Forms, Team Forms, Weapon Forms, Sparring, and Board Breaking.
