*NEW* Adult Classes – Boxing/Striking, TKD, and Jiu Jitsu

Complete Martial Arts & Fitness will begin offering adult Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Boxing/Striking classes beginning in January 2019.  Classes will be held at 7:30PM Monday through Friday.

Chun Khun Taekwondo: Tuesdays/Thursdays – Chun Kuhn Taekwondo, also called Chun Kuhn Do, is a complete and traditional form of the Korean Martial Art of Taekwondo developed and taught by Taekwon-Do legend Supreme Grandmaster Kim Bok-Man. Chun Kuhn Taekwondo is a complete martial art encompassing all areas of self defense based on traditional Taekwon-Do, developed and taught in the Korean military during the 1950s and 60s. However, unlike other styles of the art, Chun Kuhn Taekwondo also teaches grappling, throwing and the use of traditional weapons.

Grand Master Brad Shipp is a 9th degree black belt and has been training for more than 30 years under the instruction of Taekwondo Pioneer and Founder, Supreme Master Bok Man Kim.  Master Clint Wehner is a 5th degree black belt and has been training martial arts for 21 years.  Class participants will learn military style martial arts, including Forms, Weapons, Sparring, Self-Defense, and Board Breaking.  Classes will be held twice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Fridays: Gracie Jiu Jitsu is a versatile martial art, or as practitioners come to find out, it is a precise martial science. Its varied aspects include a realistic self-defense system, a complete sport, a proven fighting style and a fun and healthy recreational activity.

Self Defense is a key component of all our classes and programs. By learning through the defensive mechanisms of the fight, practitioners are able to take the proper measures to protect themselves in a humane way without harming or maiming their aggressor or opponent.

The sport aspect of Gracie Jiu Jitsu can be done in a recreational or competitive level. It is based in the ground fighting, along with takedowns, throws, ground control, and especially submissions. The class attire here is the gi or kimono, which is a tool that allows for greater creativity and sophistication of techniques.

Brad Shipp is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and currently trains at Gracie New Jersey Acadamy in Lebanon, NJ under Professor David Adiv.  He has trained in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, under the Gracie family.  Classes will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Boxing/Striking – Mondays: Participants will learn fighting stance, punches (jab, hook, cross, uppercut) and combinations, defense, and striking skills.  Classes will increase muscular strength and cardio endurance and will include core conditioning as well. Classes will be held on Mondays.

Classes will begin on January 2, 2019.
