Important dates for the month of October include:
Friday, October 12 – GAME DAY – There will be a 4pm class for students ages 8 and over and a 5pm class for students ages 7 and under. We will play martial arts related games for the entire class. Please make sure to wear your uniform!
Saturday, October 13 – NO CLASSES – Grand Master Shipp and Supreme Master Kim will be hosting a Chun Kuhn Taekwondo seminar in Plano, Texas.
Saturday, October 20 – PROMOTION TESTING – Testing will be at 10 am for all Black Belts and students ages 8 and up. Students ages 7 and under will test at 11:30 am. You must have 3 stripes on your belt in order to qualify for testing. All students testing should memorize the required number of home rules. The Home Rules can be found on our website at: https://cmanj.com/home-rules/
Thursday, October 25 – FRIEND DAY – All students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to class on this day. We have a special class planned for students of all experience levels. We play martial arts related games and give prizes to students who bring friends. You will receive a referral credit good for your next testing fee if your friend signs up for our regular program.
Friday, October 26 – HALLOWEEN PARTY – You will not want to miss our best party of the year! Please come in costume to our annual Halloween party from 5 pm until 7pm. Please bring a food, beverage, or dessert to share. There will be games, prizes, costume contests, and much more! We encourage the entire family to come in costume.
Wednesday, October 31 – NO CLASSES – There will be no classes as we expect low attendance due to trick or treating. If you are in the After School Program on this date please let us know if you would like us to take your child Trick or Treating. We understand many of the ASP parents work late so we don’t want the kids to miss out. Reserve your space by email or the front desk.
