August Class Curriculum
Important dates for the month of August include:
Tuesday, August 7th – National Night Out – Come out and celebrate National Night Out with us sponsored by the Livingston Police Department. There will be no classes at CMA. We will be set up at the Livingston Oval for a Family Class at 5pm until 6pm. All students, parents, siblings, and family members are encouraged to participate in this outdoor family class. It will be very similar to a Saturday morning family class.
Thursday, August 9th – Friend Day – All students are encouraged to bring a friend with them to class this day. We will have a 4:45 pm and 5:30 pm class open to all ages. All students who bring a friend will receive a special prize. If your friend enrolls in our regular monthly program you will receive a referral credit good for your next testing fee.
Friday, August 17th – After School Program Open House – From 5:30 pm until 6:15 pm we encourage all after school program students to stop in and visit our new space. Students can put their uniforms and equipment in their new cubbies, check out the new facility, and parents can ask questions, meet our staff, and meet other after school program parents.
Friday, August 24th – After School Program Open House – This will be the last open house for the After School Program. If you were unable to attend the first open house please make sure to attend. The Open House will be held from 5:30 pm until 6:15 pm.
Saturday, August 25th – Color Belt Promotion Testing – Testing will begin at 10 am for all students. Students who have three stripes on their belt are qualified to take the promotion test. Please study the required home rules. These rules can be found on the website.
Saturday, September 1st – Monday, September 3rd – CMA CLOSED in observance of Labor Day.
